Friday Finds: garden planning, simple recipes, self-care, and more!
What a week. We rarely turn on the TV when it’s light out, but we spent most of the day on Wednesday watching the news. As we inch closer to Inauguration Day, I find myself holding onto a lot of tension. In order to stay healthy between now and then, I’m going to make an extra effort to stay informed (starting with these older articles from Jelani Cobb and Nikole Hannah-Jones), spend time outside, and delight in the beauty of the sweet birds who visit our feeders throughout the day.

Have you started planning your spring garden? We’re going almost all edible this year, with the exception of a few flowers for the butterflies and other pollinators. I’m also hoping marigolds really will deter the deer. My seeds arrived recently and I’m going to start sketching out when and where to plant them soon!
