Born at Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minnesota | A Preview of a Birth Story Full of Laughs, Connection, and Love

Welcome to the world, sweet Sebastian! We are so glad you’re here.

This birth was filled with so much love- from the innate connection with her husband, to the devoted nurse that also made them laugh between contractions, to the supportive OB catching her babe. In the role of birth photographer, it isn’t a given that there will be anything more than a brief conversation with the birthing family when we’re actually in your birthing space. During this birth, I got to enjoy a time of alert rest after she got relief from the epidural, before it was time to start pushing. I got to learn about their story as a couple, their beginning of parenthood with their first child (big sis), and their hopes for their newest little love.

I will say this time and time again. We genuinely love what we do as photographers, but it is infinitely more meaningful to get to know you and your family in the process (if time and space allows).
