Born at Home With Trillium Midwives in Minneapolis, Minnesota | A Full Birth Story Film
Normalize birth.
True of a lot of things in life, we fear things we don’t understand. Especially in the realm of birth. How can we possibly begin to understand birth if we don’t see it? Hear it?
Giving us permission to share your birth story via photographs or film is never required. Those are your moments, your family, your experience. For those that choose to share, the impact your story has on birthing families in our Twin Cities community and beyond is boundless!
So many times, in consults or regular conversations with friends and acquaintances, someone will share with me how grateful they were to see x birth story and how it shaped how they began to view their own and formulate what would feel meaningful to them for their upcoming birth. Words like,
“I didn’t know that was possible.”
“I didn’t think a cesarean birth could look that beautiful, that I would even want to see photos from my own cesarean.”
“I didn’t know that was an option in labor.”
The list goes on and on. It is so important to share our stories, in whatever way aligns with you.
Thank you to this family for sharing your full birth film in all of its authenticity, power, and love.
